However, recognizing the need for modernization, a national project has resulted in the development of new 3D computer-generated scenarios that address various hazards. Released on 29 March 2021, the updated hazard perception test aims to enhance road safety awareness, particularly among high-risk groups. Demonstrating sound hazard perception skills can significantly reduce the likelihood of accidents.

This application offers access to 38 fully interactive hazard perception video clips, which include 29 official real-life clips and 11 new CGI scenarios. It encompasses comprehensive resources designed to prepare users for the Hazard Perception Test (HPT) across various Australian states, including New South Wales, South Australia, Queensland, Western Australia, and Victoria.
